If you didn’t need sleep, what would you do with all the extra time?

I would worship my Lord Jesus and sing praises all night long to him for all that He has done. He is so faithful and good. He loves to be with us and he inhabits our praise. So much pleasure and glory comes as we pour out our love and devotion to the King of Kings. It is the greatest joy that many have never discovered because they never fully let go of themselves in order to melt into one with the victorious Lord Jesus.

Love Heals

There is a song from the 70’s or 80’s called Love Hurts, but the truth is that LOVE heals and LOVE is the only thing that can destroy evil completely.  Love is something that is good and not a negative emotion or feeling.  Love is beautiful and it makes the world beautiful.  A lack of love is what causes the world to become a devastating, war-torn battle zone.   The battle and wars might not be military conflicts, but they can be just as damaging to have a divided people fighting over issues like abortion, gay rights, gun control and political parties raging against each other.

I often wonder if people even know what they are so upset about when they go off on a rage at the mere mention of a political candidate that is registered to the party opposite their own.  Most of the time political candidates are arguing over issues that are not going to be resolved by them or aren’t even an issue.

I know that most people are blind to the Truth, but it is almost scary to sit back and listen to how foolish people can be about nonsense that has no point or purpose and will help no one, but it does manage to keep people divided and angry which is the only reason that we have so many issues.  It may seem like a strange thing to actually seek out the Truth of a matter and not accept the lies anymore, but the Word of God is the Only Truth that will never change or pass away.  Instead of wasting days, months, and years trying to figure out who is right and wrong over issues, we could all seek the Truth and ask God to make in us a pure heart and uphold us with a right spirit that will reveal all truth to us.

God promises to write his laws on our hearts and minds so that we no longer need anyone to teach us about him or what us right and wrong.

We receive His love and we are then able to give that love to others. When people turn and help others, love blooms and the life of Christ manifests and the people are blessed.

let’s make this a true season of love and blessings. We bless and we are blessed in Christ, we multiply and we don’t diminish. Every good work we do will grow and continue to flourish and help more and more if we remain in Christ. Nothing is lost or waisted in Jesus but all is blessed and continues to thrive so that many more can get fed and begin to grow and thrive in Christ.

We live for Christ. We die for Christ. We only want to glorify his name and make Jesus exalted for all people to see and hear of God’s salvation.

When we forget our own problems or release them to Jesus and begin interceding in prayer for others and living to do God’s will, we are blessed and have all of God with us to lead and keep us moving upward.

Let go of you and take a hold of real life in Jesus!

Who Will Hear Their Cries

Every single day I wake up and ask for God to lead me, because I don’t know the way to find peace in a world so cold and busy with the things that consume the thoughts and hearts.

I need to know that there is someone that will hear the pleas for mercy for the broken, the addicted, the hopeless and the helpless. God hears the cries that rise up and fill his bowl each and everyday.

While the world is busy focused on how to get ahead and make the most out of every minute, God is found in the homeless man on the corner sleeping with the pavement for a pillow. His heart has been aching for the people that pass by in such a hurry to just stop for one moment and see the eyes of a life in need of a kind word.

In the child that grew up without a family and was forced to be passed from home to facility to unstable group home, you will find God’s heart aching for love of his creation to notice and open their hearts and homes to help.

Where Do We Go From Here?

When there is a break down of the family and the truth of God’s love is absent, people are hardened and the hearts no longer see what is real or what is necessary to love.
Career, money and things become priority while children and love are placed in the backroom to struggle and find happiness in a world void of what brings true happiness.

Being loved and accepted and knowing that you belong and that people will always be there for you no matter what happens.

People look for peace and joy in a bottle of prescription drugs, a pipe full of a destructive substance, a strong drink, another person or thing. A career and money that will buy lots of power and things, but love will be lost.

How can we know what Love is when we never felt loved or wanted?

It’s time for the people to turn their hearts towards heaven and all that God has prepared for those that never knew love, but need it desperately!!

Response to an Article Trashing the Department of Child Safety Workers

As a volunteer for Childhelp, I helped care for the children removed from unsafe homes that were waiting for placements, and I can honestly say that the kids that I saw each day were not seized for reasons that were insignificant. It usually didn’t take any asking of why a kid was there, because it was clear by their appearance and behavior. I won’t say all of them, but the ones that seemed like they were okay, usually were there because the parents were in jail, and they had no where else to go.

I taught a boy how to walk that was almost 3 years old, because he was so neglected that his mother left him in his crib night and day. I worked with kids who were so traumatized that they would wake up screaming in sheer terror from the nightmares that haunted them from the abuse they suffered. There were kids that were as young as 6 that were taking care of their younger siblings all day and night. Infants wailing in pain from starvation upon arrival, and kids covered in lice and scabbies that were found without shoes in the middle of summer begging for food on the streets. Kids as young as 8 that were trying to take their own lives to escape the suffering in their homes.

The stories are endless and heartbreaking, so if you want to actually make a difference instead of just finger pointing and blaming DCS workers that are protecting innocent children, maybe you should first ask why these families are suffering so severely when there are so many people that could and should be helping.
People won’t help that struggling mother who is broken and addicted, or the woman with a black eye who is scared to death to tell anyone about the abuse, because she knows how severely she will be beat for it. Maybe consider the family that has nothing left and are living in a car or on the street?
Don’t blame and shame the ones that are helping and caring for the hurting kids. I have seen the workers at DCS show up at a single mothers house with furniture, clothes and food many times, because they pulled together and collected those things so children wouldn’t end up in DCS care.

The workers are people who care about these children and their families, so please it is enough already on the passing the blame.

The blame goes to every person in this state who ignores their neighbors in need. Rise up and help the people around you, and you won’t need to worry about
the number of kids in care, because people will help each other instead of ignoring human lives who are being destroyed by evil.

Love others and do good!
