Every single day I wake up and ask for God to lead me, because I don’t know the way to find peace in a world so cold and busy with the things that consume the thoughts and hearts.
I need to know that there is someone that will hear the pleas for mercy for the broken, the addicted, the hopeless and the helpless. God hears the cries that rise up and fill his bowl each and everyday.
While the world is busy focused on how to get ahead and make the most out of every minute, God is found in the homeless man on the corner sleeping with the pavement for a pillow. His heart has been aching for the people that pass by in such a hurry to just stop for one moment and see the eyes of a life in need of a kind word.
In the child that grew up without a family and was forced to be passed from home to facility to unstable group home, you will find God’s heart aching for love of his creation to notice and open their hearts and homes to help.
